Alpha & Omega Sports began over two decades ago with a vision to create a world where the next generation, no matter where they were from, knew their life had purpose.
We are a Christian non-profit group that uses sports to help students find, follow, and fulfill their life's purpose.
Our mission is to use sports to help the next generation to win in school and at home, and do life on purpose. As a result, we become a bridge for communities that want to see change for the next generation.
Like for so many, sports had a big impact on my life. The life lessons I learned through sports (for me in particular, basketball), helped me to see more than the marginalized environment I belonged to. My found relationship with Jesus as a college student and the sport of basketball helped to mold what I've uncovered over 30 years as a record breaking athlete, state champion coach, and NFL/NBA and collegiate sports chaplain — character wins.
We see what you do
Together my wife and I have been in education for a combined 30+ years. We have personally seen the impact a teacher can have on a student through adulthood when there's passion and commitment in their work. And we know it's not easy.
In fact, we designed Alpha & Omega Sports to lessen the load. Our programs align the goals of building a champion for life. You'll find physical activity in sports variety, dynamic coaching from professional athletes, mentoring from professional leaders in the community and extraordinary outreach field trips.
The impact is both for the future and personal
For the now and the next generation. When you find the right bridge, you stop working to get by and start working with purpose.
That is when real change emerges.
I can say with confidence that the team at Alpha & Omega Sports - a team that serves the next generation for life - is driven by our mission to use sports to help the next generation win in school and at home, and do life on purpose.
